Gizzmos (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our companion mobile application (the “App”) handles your data when interacting with your portable Gizzmos SSD drive attached to your iOS device.
Data Collection and Access
Local Storage & File Access: The App functions as a file management utility for your external SSD drive. The App accesses your device’s file system, photos, or videos solely to facilitate file transfers, backups, and storage management between your iPhone and the external SSD.
No Server Uploads: Your personal files, photos, videos, and documents remain stored locally on your device or the connected physical SSD. We do not transmit, upload, host, or store your personal files on external servers.
Data Linked to You: We do not collect personal data linked to your identity.
Analytics & Diagnostics: [Optional: If you collect crash logs] The App may collect anonymous usage diagnostics or crash reports strictly to maintain app performance and fix bugs.
Permissions Required
To perform its storage management functions, the App may request the following iOS permissions:
Files and Folders Access: Required to read from and write data to the connected portable SSD.
Photo Library Access: Required if you elect to back up or restore photo and video media directly to the SSD.
